Max, the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max and now known by that name again, complained that X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, is not letting it switch back to its original moniker.

As of Wednesday, HBO Max is no longer Max and is back to being HBO Max, just on the Max platform. We know, it’s confusing. Either way, it appears that X (fka Twitter) is not playing ball with all of this back and forth — or at any rate, it has not played ball yet.

Warner Bros. Discovery has completed its reversal from Max back to HBO Max today, marking the end of a widely criticized two-year experiment.
