Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr pushed back on the assertion by Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch that the Warriors are benefiting from uneven officiating. Kerr told reporters Wednesday the Timberwolves are "bear-hugging" Golden State star Stephen Curry and that he has his own issues with how the postseason is being called: Finch specifically cited what he thought was excessive contact on big man Rudy Gobert that wasn't getting called.

Despite winning Game 1 in the second round against the Timberwolves, the Warriors find themselves in a tough position. Stephen Curry is dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, and Golden State is still viewed as the underdog in the matchup.

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors will be out for at least a week as he recovers from a hamstring strain he suffered during Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals series vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I thought there were a lot of open guys next to the shooter. I thought we could’ve made one more pass to keep them on the run a little bit more,” coach Chris Finch said.
