Paramount Global and President Donald Trump are engaged in "good faith, advanced, settlement negotiations" to resolve a lawsuit filed by Trump against CBS in October, alleging the network deceptively edited a "60 Minutes" interview with then-vice president Kamala Harris.

Speaking with reporters at Joint Base Andrews late Thursday night, Trump claimed the settlement was actually worth much more than $16 million.

As Paramount reaches a $16 million settlement in a dispute over footage from “60 Minutes,” the Paramount-Skydance merger still hangs in the balance.
