Karoline Leavitt commented on a deportation flight reportedly linked to South Sudan, blaming a judge who ruled the Trump administration had violated a court order.
Massachusetts federal district judge Brian Murphy ruled May 21 that the flight violated his April order that forbade the government from sending any migrants to third countries without providing them clear information about where they were going and giving them time to raise any concerns about being sent to that country.
The judge says the administration "unquestionably" violated his earlier order, which stated migrants cannot be deported to a country other than their own without having adequate notice and a chance to object.
