Jerry Jones chose to move on from Mike McCarthy and promoted offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to head coach. Schottenheimer, who has spent the last two seasons as Dallas’ OC, is entering his first season as an NFL head coach.

Booker is a player who fills a need for the Cowboys and was high on their draft board. He was mainly a left guard in college but said moving to the right side won’t be a problem.
