The fire in Oregon ballooned to more than 95,000 acres amid shifting winds and dry air, but improved weather this weekend was expected to slow its expansion.

The Cram Fire in Central Oregon has grown to more than 90,000 acres east of Madras, forcing evacuation orders across Jefferson and Wasco counties.

The Cram Fire reached 77,158 acres as of July 17, remaining the state's largest blaze and growing nearly 13,000 acres since July 16.
