Secret Wars, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce new actors to portray Iron Man, Captain America, and other original characters.

Kevin Feige recently spoke about the future of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and plans to recast iconic Marvel roles in the evolving MCU. In a new press interview, he discussed long-term franchise plans and the potential reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars.

Since launching with Iron Man in 2008, the MCU has become the most expansive and interconnected franchise in movie history. With 36 films already released and at least nine more in the pipeline, the MCU’s shift to multiverse narratives and character reimaginings is seen as a way to refresh the brand and appeal to both new and returning audiences.
