Warner Bros. Discovery has settled on a date to reskin the Max streamer back to HBO Max: Early this Wednesday morning, according to streamer insiders. The flip won’t happen simultaneously, but customers will see “HBO Max” on the apps that formerly said “Max” across the streamer’s territories on July 9.

HBO Max will be back starting tomorrow. Warner Bros. Discovery will officially rebrand its Max streaming service to HBO Max on Wednesday, July 9, a source familiar with the matter confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes less than a week after the show aired the Season 1 finale, with “Duster” having originally premiered on the streamer in May. The series starred Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson and hailed from co-creators and executive producers LaToya Morgan and J.J. Abrams.
